Volume VI of Live Stock of the Farm, of which this comprises merely the first chapter, also contains in its total of 199pp, sections by Edward C. Ash, H.S. Holmes-Pegler, and Professor James Wilson, on dogs (Pp101-154 inc.), ferrets, goats, asses and mules, and has a tissue-guarded frontispiece plate and a total of 34 b/w photos. [British Bee Bibliography ref. 474, says: "This little-known work by Herrod-Hempsall is one of his earliest".] Undated, but 1915/16. Very Good/Later loose protective Jacket.
