Pp 40, with a frontispiece, 27 further plates in b/w photo & line, and 3 Appendices published as "The Guildhall Miscellany, Number 5, July 1955. Withdrawn and sold from Keele University Library, with a few neat stamp-impressions and labels. Otherwise very good, in the original black-printed thin blue-card covers. "The object of this Miscellany is to record discoveries of literary or antiquarian interest based wholly, or in part, on material in the custody of the Library Committee of the Corporation of London. It is hoped by this means to make more widely known, contributions to knowledge, within the special fields, which would otherwise find little opportunity of appearing in print" - Raymond Smith, Librarian and Curator, and Director of the Art Gallery, Guildhall, London. Postage will be reduced for this item. Very Good.
