Hardback, 125mm x 188mm tall (5" x 7.5" approx.). 42pp. Slight rub to the head of the spine, otherwise very good in the original blind-ruled, black cloth-covered boards/gilt titles/blind-stamped logo to front board/green & white-marbled endpapers, with the hand-written inscription to the blank upper margin of the title-page: "with the author's compliments February, 1915", TOGETHER WITH, loosely inserted, a double-sided, handwritten letter to Clifford Smith [? Author of "Buckingham Palace: Its Furniture, Decoration & History"?]: "Dear Clifford Smith, I am sending you a copy of "Old London Glasshouses" to add to your library, if you care to accept it. There is a chapter on mirrors which may possibly interest you. Though it is so small a book, it has taken nearly a year to collect the materials. Perhaps I may be able to expand it in a future edition. Yours sincerely, (signed) Francis Buckley - 18, Aubrey Walk, Kensington W. February 27th 1915.". Very Good/No d/w.
