Endpapers and frontispiece tissue-guard lightly toned and a few very minor external rubs, otherwise very good, in the original dark-blue cloth-covered boards/gilt spine title with gilt heraldic logos to both boards. Manchester Diocesan Education Society's Special Subject Examination prize label to front pastedown, the award having been made to one James Haslam of St. Paul's, Ramsbottom in 1908.
