Description: London, The Religious Tract Society. 1840, A New Edition, Revised. Decorated Cloth, 12mo. Hardback, 100mm x 160mm tall (4" x 6.25" approx.). Pp iv, 158 with a multi-folding frontispiece map with colouring; a title-page vignette; 46 further engravings in the text; a plan of the Tabernacle and surrounding Courts, and a map of Canaan. The neat signatures of two previous owners to the front free endpaper and a little very light occasional spotting, otherwise fine and bright [as also is the folding map], in the original blind & gilt-decorated, green cloth-covered boards/gilt decorated spine and spine title. Undated, but circa 1840? [COPAC lists only two copies of this uncommon book, one of 1832 and a 5th Edition of 1839]. Fine.
