Included is an extract from the December 9th, 1825's issue of 'The Courier' of Baker Perkins' 'Steam Gun' which, one assumes, was the inspiration for Philip Pullman when writing 'Shadow in the North'. 30 pages [un-numbered]. illustrated throughout in b/w & colour. Very good, in the original colour-llustrated boards./white title.
