Rubs to spine and board edges and corners, internally very good. Original quarter black morocco/green marbled paper-covered boards/gilt spine title/top edges gilt, with green marbled endpapers; the title-page printed in brown and red, and the original ribbon page-marker detached but present. The original edition of 1867 was limited to fifty copies only, details of the recipients are here provided.
