The "Compass Instructions" section comprises: title-leaf and 32pp with 39 illustrations in b/w and line. The "Replaceable Parts List for the Sperry Mark E.XIV Gyro-Compass Equipment" comprises: title-leaf + 27pp, illustrated in line throughout. The section "Instructions for the Operation of the Mk E.XIV Gyro-Compass Equipment with Control Panel Mk E.XVI and Alarm Unit Mk. E.V. 220 Volt D.C. Supply" has title-leaf + 4pp with two b/w photos, and the final section; "Instructions for the Operation and Care of the M.K. L.I. Motor Generator 220 Volts D.C. Supply with Spare Parts List" has a title-leaf + 6pp, with one b/w photo. Some marginal dusting, otherwise very good, in the original blind-ruled, dark-green cloth-covered board loose-leaf binder with brass screws and central gilt logo.The loosely-inserted first issue of "The Sperry Review", 6.75" x 9.25" approx. 22pp with illustrations in b/w & line, is a fine copy as issued, in the colour-printed paper covers. Also loosely inserted are 6 stapled blue-prints and a couple of sheets of hand-written notes on Ellerman's City Line headed notepaper.
