Description: London: printed for G. Kearsley; and sold by the Authour, and by Deighton [et al.], 1802. xiii, [4], 522, [10]p. 9 folding plates. Light brown calf; covers decorated with a single gold fillet and blind roll border, with the arms in gilt of the East India College on front and rear covers; gold-tooled spine (rebacked and original spine covering put back); marbled endpapers; East India College prize bookplate on front pastedown awarded to Robert Henry Stuart as first of his class in mathematics; oval stamp of the Royal Society of Edinburgh on title-page and front flyleaf. Rear board a little scuffed; minor spotting on title-page, and some discolouration on page 1, otherwise a very good, clean copy, with all plates intact.
