Volume one has been re-backed with the original spine. Labels are recent on both volumes. This edition has 15 additional illustrations as well as some text revisions. Beautiful wood engravings by Thomas Bewick (1753-1828) throughout. Volume I is the land birds, and volume II is the water birds. .
