This copy was the property of the Hon. Emery Washburn, former Governor of Massachusetts and noted professor of Law at Harvard. Emory Washburn (1800-1877) served as Governor of Massachusetts, 1854-1855, and wrote a number of legal treatises. He was instrumental in the founding of Worcester Polytechnic Institute. This report covers efforts in Asia, the Middle East, Armenia, the Sandwich Islands and among several Native American Tribes. Very good .
