Archbold feeding "college building crackers" to a Chancellor Day, (Syracuse University) as a parrott. Archbold used his influence as a highly placed Standard Oil official to get Day appointed at Syracuse. The old stadium at S.U. was "Archbold Stadium. Very good, a bright image .
