Colorful slightly inflated descriptions of this "forbidden land" by this indefatigable traveler (1892-1981) who became famous for his book on T.E. Lawrence and his many years as the voice of Fox Movietone News. He also worked for CBS and NBC News and was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 1989. Very good .
