Reading copy, a very poor hardback, cloth spine detached from very worn boards, front endpapers and frontispiece missing, gift inscriptions on title page verso plus other names on endpapers and writing/sums/marks internally, some pages and plates detached. 230 pages + 16 pages of adverts, 11 colour illustrations on plates (5 missing). Undated but British Library gives 1870. Poor with no dust jacket.
