Large format pictorial hardback(blue lettering and illustration on the front cover, blue lettering to the spine, some stain marks, dents and nicks on the cover and spine) with paper Dj cover(some ink marks, creases and nicks on the Dj cover), both in VGC. Illustrated with many colour maps. Nice and clean pages with a small foxing mark and slightly tainted on the outer edges, small stain marks, foxing marks and some creases on the edges of the pages. The book is in VGC for its age with some shelf wear. The scale of the maps is: 4 miles to an inch. 160pp including Index to section maps of the British Isles showing the principal highroads only, 64 pages of Gazetteer index to places. The maps displaying:main roads, secondary roads, other roads, railways. A collectable book. Heavy book. Very Good/Very Good.
