The front cover design is from a painting by John Nicolson, A. R. E The Preliminary decorations-Adventurous Callings-are from drawings by D. G. Eyles. Clean pages but with foxing marks, colour marks and tainted on the outer edges, some foxing marks, nicks and creases on the edges of the pages, two pen marks and wrting inside the first blank page of the book, inscription with date(1928) written inside the edge of the second blank page of the book. The book is in GC for its age but with some shelf wear on the cover. 288pp including List of colour and b/w illustrations. Heavy book. Including the following stories:Time Signals by Richard Bird-The White Kangaroo by Percy F. Westerman and many more. Ill: D. G. Eyles. Acceptable/No Jacket.
