Bright solid, books, hinges intact. ; Light edge wear, small spot worn through on spine of Vol II, some discoloration of end papers. ; The Novels of William Harrison Ainsworth; Photo-gravure; These books, originally published in 1841, are in wonderful condition. The red cloth covered boards have blind stamped designs in gilt on front and spine, top edge gilt. The laid paper pages have unclipped fore and bottom edges. The illustrations, photogravures from the original engravings by John Franklin, are intact with tissue guards. This set is one of 2000 printed November 1901.. Very Good with no dust jacket .
