This is based on a 1907 map (by Morice) of Northern British Columbia . Appendices and index at back. ; B&W Illustrations; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 368 pages; Morice, who lived 1859-1938, was a missionary sent to British Columbia in 1880. He served in posts such as Williams Lake, Fort Saint James. In his travels, he made notes about the countryside and the people, drew up a map and eventually published this book in Toronto in 1904 by William Briggs and in 1906 an expanded British edition of which this is a facsimile. After leaving missionary work he went on to write a number of books on western Canadian & mission history.. Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket .
