A few wrong folds to plates but all tight, clean and no tears. *A profusely illustrated set of 7 volumes of this comprehensive work, covering a wide variety of educational subjects. Fifth edition of the English version translated from French by Samuel Humphreys (1698?-1738). Starting with natural history, they deal with various sciences, and include much on trades in final two volumes (ESTC N24037).
