Frontis mounted +titlepage +[2]pp Preface +[4]pp Contents +184pp. Some foxing/browning mainly to beginning & end and signs of use but a neat tight copy of this chapbook-sized Sunday School monthly reader. *Starting with January and ending in December it contains many stories and articles of a moral nature. William Wilberforce the leading anti-slavery campaigner and member of Parliament supported this little magazine and it also contains a short biography of Robert Raikes of Gloucester telling how he devised the formation of Sundays Schools after being told that on Sundays the poor parts of town were crowded with ragged aimless children.
